Welcome to the Gippsland Regional Council
of Adult, Community & Further Education Website
The Gippsland Regional Council of Adult, Community & Further
Education (ACFE) has a statutory responsibility for planning, supporting
and promoting adult education in Gippsland.
Members are appointed by the Minister for Post Compulsory Education
Employment and Training. The members of
Regional Council bring different expertise and local knowledge
about adult education needs in Gippsland. They develop regional
plans and policies, and promote, support, resource and evaluate
adult education provision in Gippsland.
The
Regional Council contributes to state wide planning and policy
development and prepares reports for the
Adult, Community and Further Education Board. The ACFE Board
is responsible to the Minister for Education & Training.
